The baby was a wiggle worm on camera! Jake was able to go with me. His face was AWESOME while he watched the screen.

Should be able to determine gender in the New Year!

A baby Burton is cookin'!

Not the best picture (phone pic from ultrasound on the fridge), but YEP!!!! We are expecting and oh soooooooooooooooo EXCITED!

Baby Burton is due June 17, 2013. Measured at 8wks-1day (right on schedule per LMP) and heart beat was 173bpm. My first prenatal visit was 07Nov2012 (date of this first ultra-sound) with Karen McBride, a certified midwife @ Circle of Life in Ogden. (as you can tell, this will probably be my way of documenting this fun experience, so bare with me!)

Jake and I are thrilled...beyond thrilled... don't have adequate words of our joy! This will be the 1st grand-baby on my side and the 10th grand-baby on Jake's (that I know of, unless someone is keeping a good secret) ;)

Morning sickness has been the biggest issue thus far. Nothing better than nausea and vomit to start your day. My new best friend, Zofran, seems to make my life easier though.

As of today, 14Nov2012, I am 9wks-2days. No weight gain, but no weight loss either. Cravings? I seem to really want fruit smoothies... the coldness seems to make my stomach ease quickly. But nothing really apparent yet in that realm. Have been trying to continue pilates 2 to 3 times a week (last two weeks were not that successful with the morning, well all day, sickness... but ave been twice this week now). Hoping to keep that up the entire pregnancy, with modification to some of the workouts I am sure.

Well, Happy Thanksgiving soon! Hope you all enjoy "cookin'" as much as I am right now!

Well, wish I had something "cool" or "exciting" to post :)
No picture of a baby bump yet, well of my own any ways :)
My good friends Teryn and Erin are both expecting! Due in late Jan 2013 and Feb 2013. I know one for sure is girl, let the shopping begin!

Welcomed our 7th niece Kate Burton this month! She is a stinkin' cutie! I could eat her. We now have 7 nieces and 2 nephews, just on Jake's side!

South Weber is treating us well so far. Jake was just asked, and accepted, the calling of 2nd counselor in the YMs (his little heaven on earth I think) :) They haven't figured out I am here yet I think :) hehe.

We went to check out Xterria (?) race this weekend. Jake signed up to compete but the weekend before he crashed mountain biking and tweeked his shoulder and hip. PT and insta-care doc said no go :( He was pretty bummed, but now its a great goal for next year.


Oh by the way, have you checked out the LEAVES! Holy cow they are awesome! We went up South Fork with Jake's mom this Sunday. I love the fall!!! I told Jake I want a lot of trees that have leaves that will change just so I can play with my kids in them! I know it will stink cleaning them up (I hated that chore growing up!) BUT will totally be worth it!

Let's see... what else....
I turned the big "2-8" earlier this month. Was absolutely spoiled by family and friends (THANK YOU). This year will be great so far in my head. LOL. Just got to accomplish the many goals I have drifting around in there... one includes blogging more and having something FUN to take pics of and share.

We MOVED! :)
The Burton Bunch relocated to South Weber, UT about 2 weeks ago (explaining the extreme lack of posting)... really, who wants to see pictures of me packing and packing boxes?? LOL.

It is nice to be literally 6 minutes drive from work, best perk of the move so far.
The house isn't quite up to par for pics etc, but we are enjoying our new little home so far.

.:Under Contract:.

WOW time flies (supposed to end the sentence, "when having fun" right?). Well time flies when all you do is work, eat, and sleep and try to slide in a little pilates here and there.

We sold our house (hence last post, A LONG TIME AGO). WE are under contract and set to close Aug 17th!!!!!

We have no idea where we are going, so life will get a little more interesting I guess.

Well it's that time again...
Our house is up for sale in Plain City. We ( well I do, Jake would prefer Huntsville I am sure...) LOVE it out here, but we don't love having a house payment, etc.
